evening's other victorians

Further evidence that Lookout! Records are defying being pigeonholed as a pop-punk only label, they're releasing the debut LP by San Francisco's Evening in early February. Other Victorians is a very solid album, and their show at CMJ this year was completely fabulous, even though it was like, 2:30 AM when I watched them play. Go here and download "Vivixc" to hear for yourself, and look for the album out February 10th.

I'll be posting some sort of year-end listage this week, but Communiqué recording, holiday shopping, packing for our move, and breaking up cat fights is keeping me pretty busy. No excuses though!
